Fear
Fear can be a pain, mostly it’s hard to argue with our own minds. When we are the ones generating the blocks, we are generally assuming that it has passed our own logic center and we take it to be true without audit.
First, we need to look at this as normal. I mean let’s be honest depending on how far you go and what you see or feel, our mind can wander to many stories or fairytales or even someone speaking out of turn about something that they don’t understand. A great example of this is try to remember the first time your parents left you alone in the house once you were old enough. Suddenly the house seemed to make different sounds and maybe it sounded like someone was trying to break in or something creepy was going on. Now In truth the house still made the same sounds that it always had but because your mind was generating an experience based out of fear things seemed to be new and drew your focus very fast. This can be no different. So I want to remind you again. This is an exercise in going inside yourself and inside your own mind there is no safer place to be as you are the one who makes the rules within your own mind. If by chance you come across something you don’t like or your afraid of simply change the rules… Its your mind !!!
If you feel the need to have some sort of protection with you or a prayer of protection before you begin, I encourage you to do so for as long as you feel you need it. Remember we are going inside your mind, the person that is in control of that front door is actually you and only you. But if this is something you feel brings you comfort then ABSOLUTELY, do it.
I would like to help you once you’re doing this to optimize your protection. Pick one thing or one prayer. Whatever feels best for you. You don’t need 15. I have run into a few people that want a little of everything and of course they are not harming anything or anyone by doing this but think about what you’re telling yourself in that moment, the moment you start the 15th one you are already saying the last 14 are not enough, because you needed one more. Now subconsciously your are telling yourself that what your doing will not work because why would you need more? This one thing alone can trip some people up and remembering what we are telling ourselves is so very important. Find one you like and stick to it but do it well and give it the respect it deserves too.
