Benefits

In the beginning, most people tend to use it for introspection. Not only creating the space within your mind to work but training the mind to work within that space. Now, before you call me out on a clever sentence, try to understand that if I was to ask most people to silence their mind of all thought for 5 minutes, 99% of people who do not meditate will make about 3 seconds. Honestly this is okay. It’s a practicable skill that takes time to master. Let’s fast forward to having the ability to quiet your mind. What would you do with that space? Would you stop time? Have space to process? Look at a situation carefully or from a different perspective? Or would you see what else you could hear once you lowered the static? Just like making a muscle stronger it takes practice and dedication. Your mind is no different.
So this list goes on and on when you start to understand how some of these start to play off each other in an exponential way but here is a list of some of the benefits to meditation.
