Self Care

This is a fantastic time to bring up self-care practices for the Healer. After your session is done make sure you book yourself a small amount of downtime in between sessions, this may not get used every time but for the heavier appointments it can be absolutely crucial for you. It could be a small meditation, it could just be sitting in silence and reviewing the experience with your team, or it could even be a moment to make sure that you are fully disconnected and take some time to reconnect with yourself. I mentioned this because of the importance of the habit and how often it’s overlooked, and it is true there are some healing sessions where you’re going to feel much more energized than drained. The importance of building this habit is so the time is there if the need arises. It can be absolutely crucial when building your structure itself. Therefore, make sure you plan 15 to 20 minutes between appointments just as a buffer space for you to capitalize on.Â
