Emotional Trauma, Guilt, and Grief

Even though these are three different categories the basics for them all revolve around someone’s emotions. Now I could have put these categories with the previous one when we talked about being able to calm somebody’s emotions or relieve that excess of energy and teach them some new coping mechanisms or skills to deal with that however these can be a bit different. Sometimes the marks that emotional trauma leaves on somebody can be complex and difficult to unravel and it usually takes a very patient person and a lot of time to undo that ball of yarn. When the person is discussing what they feel, more often than not a Healer will act in that moment as a regulator for those emotions taking out the peaks and valleys and allow them to look at their own emotional reactions in a different light. A lot of healers don’t recognize the abilities that they have to affect another person’s emotions, whether it’s to mute or if it’s to exacerbate a feeling but those are definitely in the wheelhouse of a Healer.
