Meditation can be used for many purposes.
Healing
Intuition
Clarity
Mindfulness
Communication
That's just to name a few.

 

 

In the beginning, most people tend to use it for introspection. Not only creating the space within your mind to work but training the mind to work within that space. Now before you call me out on a clever sentence, we need to understand that there is a lot of myths out there in the world about meditation that can seem unattainable.

Myths. (just to name a few)

-You have to silence your mind to meditate.

-You must be able to sit in the lotus position for hours on end.

-It is only used in religion.

-You need to be gifted to use meditation.

-If I get frustrated with thoughts or a twitchy body its not for you.

-If I learn one style then I can not use the others.
