The Importance of Mindfulness when Dealing with Empathy

I’m going to keep this short but if you haven’t already studied mindfulness practice, I would highly encourage you to do so. It’s one of the first things we teach a newly gifted person or a person going through a second awakening because it is so interwoven in the ability to see and interact with one’s own thoughts and emotions. It is much more than just eating or seeing something mindfully. It’s about doing the hard work behind that and interacting with your thoughts and emotions before you react to them. Whether you’re using one of our mindfulness courses, you’re trying to be self-taught via the internet or using somebody else’s course, I highly recommend a mindfulness practice alongside a meditation practice. These are the foundation blocks that completely change the way you look at the gift of empathy and how you’ll have the ability to use it.
