The Idea of Practice

There’s a lot of stigmas around emotions and mental health especially nowadays so it can be difficult to receive the advice that you need to go out there and practice with them when everything says you should not be feeling. I have found a lot of joy and fun with the gift of empathy, even that little exercise in public places about blending in or standing out, being a little nosey myself from time to time, or connecting and disconnecting throughout a conversation with somebody, auditing what I’m feeling. This entire topic has an aura of respect, importance, and responsibility, but who said we couldn’t have fun along the way? The more fun you’re able to make your practice, the sooner and the deeper you will understand your abilities. Dream up new ways of practicing the skills and the thing that you’re learning, figure out what works for you, even what you’re learning. The internet can be wonderful for different things to practice but it can also give you a lot of things to do that conceptually don’t make sense for you so audit them often.
