Finding Courage

Don’t worry, if you say it fast enough, it sounds super easy! This is always where the rubber hits the road, isn’t it? You can watch something, you can see the value in something, or you can admire a skill in somebody else, but unless you possess the courage to affect change within yourself nothing will change. Sometimes we borrow courage from others or from a group of people, we allow that mob mentality to wash over us in order to trump our overthinking. Though, all of these solutions are temporary, and they will not serve you long term. Do you remember at the beginning of this course I asked you if this is something that you want to do? Or if you are willing to do what is necessary? That want or desire becomes your fuel. The only permanent things you do in this life, are the things that you do because you are motivated to do them. If your motivations are for somebody else, then your fuel only lasts as long as they are in the picture. Throughout this process and after you’ve finished this process remind yourself often, that it is you that is making this choice and it is you that wants this. You might be surprised what this does to your courage levels!
