Basics

Let’s start with the easy stuff! Your higher self has many different names. Nowadays people use spirit guides, ancestors, spirit teams or just higher self. We as a company just use the word “team” because it’s fairly general and it’s all inclusive of any other term. For the remainder of this course, I will be referring to higher self as a team. We also understand that your team is a collection of every past life that you’ve ever lived. That team can operate as individuals or as one collective.

Learning how to tap into that and use that higher wisdom and knowledge starts in only one place, no matter where you are at in your journey currently. It starts with the acknowledgement that it is there. Sounds like a fairly easy and silly step, doesn’t it? However, when somebody keeps themself held hostage on top of the fence without making a decision either way, everything that comes after swims in the pool of maybe and it doesn’t dry you further one way or another.

You would be truly surprised to find out how many things are happening around you, for you! Especially these days, we are so busy looking for the next thing to do or the next award to win or the next task to accomplish, that we forget to slow down and look at the things right in front of us. Let’s begin with a very simple affirmation, this affirmation will be your homework over the next few weeks. Somewhere within your morning routine I want you to say the words out loud:

“I am open to see what is meant for me! “

Now I don’t care if you write it on your bathroom mirror or a piece of paper beside your bed, but I want it somewhere where you can include it within your morning routine, preferably saying it in front of a mirror, so you can see yourself saying it and you can also hear yourself saying it, but I’ll leave that part up to you.

I want to talk about a few important differences about this affirmation. You are not asking for your team to show you something. Those are not your demands to make. You are however telling yourself that you’re open to see what is already there. In the beginning this is much more about you than you realize. There will be lots of times later to have some fun with this and allow your team to show off a little, so to speak.

I would also like to remind you that the most important words you’re going to hear in a day, are your own! Be wise with what you tell yourself throughout this process and afterwards, because you will listen to yourself.
